Are you ready to empower others with essential life-saving skills? Become a PADI Emergency First Response Instructor and gain the ability to teach CPR and first aid to divers and non-divers alike. This course prepares you to confidently pass on vital knowledge that can make a true difference in emergencies — both underwater and on land.

What Will You Learn?

Throughout the course, you'll refine your instructional skills, master EFR course standards, and learn how to structure effective lessons — making you a trusted and confident first aid and CPR trainer.

 

Primary Care (CPR)

Learn how to handle life-threatening emergencies with step-by-step techniques. You’ll practice eight essential skills, including:

  • Assisting patients who aren’t breathing or have no heartbeat

  • Managing potential spinal injuries

  • Treating shock and serious bleeding

  • Performing CPR and patient monitoring until emergency services arrive

Secondary Care (First Aid)

Not all emergencies are life-threatening. This part of the course covers:

  • Assessing injuries and illnesses

  • Providing first aid to ease pain and prevent further injury

  • Bandaging and splinting techniques for broken bones and wounds

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years Old

  • Duration:  1-2 days

  • Included: Instructor Manual, Certification

  • Required: EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within the past 24 months (or a willingness to refresh)

  • Equipment Needed: None (course materials provided)
