What Will You Learn?

Requirements to Become an MSDT

To earn the Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Certified at least 25 PADI divers.

  • Earn at least five PADI Specialty Instructor certifications.

  • Be a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI).

Once you’ve met these requirements, you’ll be eligible to present yourself as a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, gaining access to higher-paying job opportunities and the respect of dive operators worldwide.
