What Is the Open Water Upgrade?

This course is for certified PADI Scuba Divers who are ready to take the final step and become PADI Open Water Divers. With just two confined water sessions, two open water dives, and the remaining knowledge modules, you’ll upgrade your certification and unlock full dive freedom.

Course Breakdown

✅ Confined Water Training

Complete the last two confined water sessions, sharpening your diving techniques and safety skills in a controlled environment.

✅ Open Water Dives

Head out for the final two dives in the stunning Red Sea, where you’ll apply your skills and gain real-world dive experience.

✅ Knowledge Development

Finish the last two theory modules and a short quiz to deepen your understanding of scuba diving principles.

✅ Final Assessment

Pass a short final exam to demonstrate your readiness for independent open water dives.

Course Details

• Duration: 2 open water dives (plus confined water and theory)
• Minimum Age: 10 years old
• Certification Earned: PADI Open Water Diver
• Dive Limit: Up to 18 meters (60 feet)
• Includes:

  • Final two confined water sessions
  • 2 open water dives in the Red Sea
  • PADI-certified instruction
  • Final exam and certification processing
